Your microphone sound never leaves your device.
Short version: the microphone sound stays in your browser. We do not record it, store it or send it anywhere. There is no tracking.
Microphone
The browser asks for permission only when you press Start tuner. The sound is analysed in memory by JavaScript on your device, a few thousand samples at a time, and then discarded. The microphone switches off when you press Stop, switch tab or leave the page. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your browser settings.
Cookies, ads and tracking
The site sets no cookies and has no ads, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts. All files are served from onlinebasstuner.app. Because nothing needs consent, there is no cookie banner.
Local storage
If you pick a tuning on the home page, the choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so it is selected next time. It stays on your device and you can delete it by clearing site data.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect against attacks.
